Job description/specification
We are looking for a professional to take on the role of IT Administrator. You will be part of the Corporate IT team
The position will be based in the city of Maia in Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Manage information technology (cloud platforms, datacenters and employee computing systems);
- Manage tasks of IT staff to execute the annual IT Plan and IT Helpdesk;
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures;
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems;
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational efficiency;
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time;
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes;
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures;
- Ensure cost effectiveness of Global IT infrastructure running costs (cloud platforms, datacenters and employee computing systems);
- Propose, get approval and implement the annual IT Plan.
Must Have
- Technical Degree or higher in Information Technology, IT Engineering, Computer Science or relevant areas;
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role;
- Experience in cloud management and documentation;
- Familiarity with IT governance and compliance and IT security best practices;
- Strong knowledge of Software Development;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Nice to have
- Previous experience in Hospitality and/or Healthcare technology companies;
- Additional languages.
