Job Description

We are seeking a Junior HR Assistant to join our team to provide efficient administrative and operational support across all areas of Human Resources, including Recruitment & Selection, Labor Relations, Payroll and Employee Development & Engagement, ensuring smooth and compliant HR processes.

This is a full-time, on-site position at our Maia, Portugal office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Selection: Assist with job postings, application management, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and new hire onboarding documentation.
  • Administrative & Labor Relations: Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain employee records, handle basic employee inquiries, and assist with the administration of employee equipment and internship programs. 
  • Payroll: Assist with the administration of time-off requests, support data collection for payroll processing, and help with the organization of payroll and fiscal documentation.
  • Employee Development & Engagement: Provide administrative assistance for performance evaluations, team surveys, training coordination, and team-building activities. 
    • Maintain accurate HR records and workflows. 
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR team. 
    • Ensure confidentiality and data privacy in all HR related tasks.

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years in the Human Resources area. 
  • Fluency in English. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Positive and proactive attitude. 
  • Eager to learn and adaptable.
