Job Description

We're seeking a Head of Spanish Operations to oversee and optimize the operational execution within Sales, Logistics, Project Implementation, and Support teams in Spain.

You'll be the central point for ensuring smooth, high-quality delivery and operational performance across these critical departments. This role requires a hands-on leader adept at managing diverse operational teams and processes. While focused on operational leadership now, this position offers a significant opportunity for growth, potentially leading to a broader leadership role within the Nonius regional structure in the future.

This is a full-time, on-site position at our Madrid, Spain office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Operational Execution: Oversee day-to-day operations across Sales support, Logistics, Project Management/Implementation, and Technical Support teams in Spain, ensuring efficiency and adherence to high standards. 
  • Drive Performance & Satisfaction: Focus on optimizing processes, meeting operational KPIs, ensuring excellent service delivery, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Co-manage the operational aspects influencing the unit's P&L. 
  • Sales & Delivery Support: Lead the operational aspects of the Sales team and function, support Key Account Managers, manage business development execution, and ensure seamless project delivery from proposal to implementation. 
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring: Build, manage, and mentor the operational teams within Sales, Admin, Logistics, and Professional Services, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance (in coordination with HQ). 
  • Manage Resources & Compliance: Oversee local purchasing, warehousing, administrative tasks, collections support, budgeting for operational areas, and reporting, liaising with HQ and local partners.​

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience successfully managing and optimizing operations across functions like sales operations, project delivery, or technical support at a country or regional level.  
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate diverse operational teams effectively.
  • Strong understanding and experience in managing complex projects and implementations.  

Nice to Have

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in a relevant field. 
  • Experience in the hospitality technology or professional services sectors.
  • Experience working in a multinational organization.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
