Job Description
Nonius Benelux provides cutting-edge technology solutions that elevate guest experiences and streamline operations for the hospitality industry throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. We are seeking a skilled Network Installation Technician to join our team primarily the Benelux region.This individual will work closely with the Subsidiary Director and our international colleagues to ensure the flawless and seamless installation and deployment of our high-performance network solutions.
The position will be based at our Almere office.
Key Responsibilities
- On-site Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving on-site issues related to Nonius solutions, ensuring high customer satisfaction and minimal downtime.
- Specialized Technical Installations: Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and replacement of a wide range of telecommunications, electrical, and multimedia equipment, including routers, switches, access points, UPS systems, TVs, STBs, and cameras. Be responsible for all electrical installations and corrections within network racks, including the proper setup of power distribution units (PDUs) and ensuring all equipment is correctly grounded.
- Network & Infrastructure Management: Conduct network surveys and execute tasks for the installation, correction, and maintenance of both structured networks and Wi-Fi systems. Specialized Installations: Install, correct, and align satellite antennas, and perform electrical installations and corrections within network racks.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit detailed technical reports, weekly intervention summaries, and maintenance worksheets to ensure accurate record-keeping and project tracking.
- Operational Excellence: Manage internal IT operations as coordinated by the Nonius IT department, maintain full attendance and punctuality, and take full responsibility for the company vehicle and all assigned tools. This includes keeping the vehicle clean, in good working order, and ensuring all scheduled maintenance is completed according to instructions.
Must Have
- High school diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or similar field.
- Work experience in Telecom and/or Networking.

Ability to work in WAN/LAN environment.
- Working with routers, servers and TCP/IP environment.
- CCNA or other switching/routing courses or work experience that can be considered equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and be available to travel within the country and abroad.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Dutch.
- Excellent communication skills and exceptional customer awareness.
Nice to Have

Hospitality experience, preferably Hotel IT.

Linux admin experience and shell scripting.

Awareness of hotel chain brand standards.
- Experience with leading IT equipment.

Experience with Hotels, TV systems, Coax and IP networks, Wi-Fi, IT, ISP.
